Saint Gerard’s Circle

Our Mission:  Saint Gerard’s Circle is a ministry for mothers.  Our goal is to provide friendships and support within our parish, to provide a Catholic foundation for our children, to continue spiritual guidance for ourselves and our families, and to encourage community involvement.

Our Purpose: The purpose of our ministry is to connect with other women for support, friendship, fun, sharing, education, and a sense of community.  Saint Gerard’s Circle   provides the opportunity to build relationships, to enhance members’ personal and family lives, and to empower us to be better women.

We want you to get what you need out of Saint Gerard’s Circle.  As you become involved you will know what fits best into your life and what your purpose is in joining Saint Gerard’s Circle.  The following is just a glimpse of what we have planned.

Monthly Meetings:  This is an opportunity to get together to discuss the vision of Saint Gerard’s Circle and come together for fellowship and friendship.  There will also be monthly readings on topics of interest to mothers raising Catholic families that will be part of our discussions.

Spirituality: Our faith and spirituality are of the highest importance and are the foundation of Saint Gerard’s Circle.  As a group we value praying together, growing with the support and friendship of other Moms and Moms to be, extending friendship and guidance to those who may be struggling to build their families, supporting our parish with our time and talents, and encouraging community involvement.

Guardian Angels:  This is where we come together to help other Moms in need by delivering food, prayers and friendship at the birth of a new baby, times of illness, or any special circumstances where we can provide support.

Playgroups and Kids Activities:  This is already a huge benefit to those involved and will only continue to grow.  Playgroups are planned weekly in small groups at members’ houses and at Church.  Many kids activities are planned monthly for an opportunity to meet other moms and kids at cool places around town. 

Couples Events: Looking for an entertaining date night?  Plus, what a great way to become more involved as a couple by meeting other parish members within Saint Gerard’s Circle.  We have many fun events planned!

Mom’s Time Out:  Everyone deserves a night out!  This is a fun opportunity to get out with friends for good food, good conversation and a little relaxation.  Time Outs are scheduled monthly at restaurants,  spas, members’ houses and other cool places around town.  And, don’t forget about monthly Bunco! 

Family Events:  Pack up and bring the whole family out to our Family Events.  Parties, picnics, sporting events and more!  This is a great opportunity to get everyone involved in Saint Gerard’s Circle and celebrate our families together.
