The goal of our Confirmation preparation program is to help students prepare to not only receive, but also to live the Sacrament of Confirmation. Our program includes service, instruction, prayer, a retreat and spiritual growth.

"The sacrament of Confirmation impresses a character and by it the baptized, continuing on the path of Christian initiation, are enriched by the gift of the Holy Spirit and bound more perfectly to the Church; it strengthens them and obliges them more firmly to be witnesses to Christ by word and deed and to spread and defend the faith." (Canon 879)

Confirmation is a two-year program beginning in seventh grade, with the Sacrament of Confirmation conferred during the spring semester of eighth grade.  If your eighth-grader was not enrolled in a religious education class in seventh grade, he or she will be enrolled in the first-year Confirmation class for this term and receive Confirmation the following year.
