If you are interested in becoming Catholic or completing your Catholic sacraments, then RCIA is for you.  "RCIA" stands for "Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults" and it simply refers to the gradual process one takes to learn about Catholic teachings, enter into a Catholic parish community and finally be received into the Catholic Church at Easter.  The process may take as little as a few months for an adult who was baptized Catholic and only needs preparation for First Communion and Confirmation or it may take years for someone to be at peace with the decision to become Catholic. 

Currently our RCIA sessions meet on Monday evenings from 7:00-9:00PM in the Multi-Purpose room beginning on September 17th.  Sessions are recorded for those who miss a class or two.  If you need to make special arrangements for a meeting time other than Monday evenings, please contact Jon Schaffhausen.

WHAT:  RCIA Classes at Holy Spirit

WHO: Anyone who is interested in becoming Catholic or completing their Catholic Initiation (e.g. First Communion and/or Confirmation).  Practicing Catholics desiring to learn more about their faith should contact the School of Faith at (913) 310-0014.  They are offering a wealth of classes for the Year of Faith.

WHEN: We meet on Monday evenings from 7:00-9:00PM.  You may enter the process at any time during the year.

WHERE: We meet in the Multi-Purpose Room, also known as the A/V Room on the school level by the gym. 

WHY: Because if you're looking at this then God has been pulling at your heart to do something for a while and it's time to dive in and check it out!
