Men of Faith & Spirit

"Where a lone man may be overcome, two together can resist. A three-ply cord is not easily broken." – Ecclesiastes 4:12

Our Purpose:

Using the Scriptures and other solid Catholic resources, the Men of Faith & Spirit groups provide an opportunity for men to support each other in more fully understanding and applying the Scriptures and Church teachings to their daily lives. Our hope is to enable men to better practice the fullness of the Catholic faith within all aspects of their lives (i.e. as a husband, father, employee, employer, co-worker, friend, and parishioner, etc.).

An Invitation:

All men of the Parish are invited to join the Men of Faith & Spirit. We require no dues. Currently, two groups meet weekly to grow in our understanding and faithfullness to Catholic Scripture and Tradition. New men are welcome to join either group at any time, and may come as often as they want. Books for both groups have been provided by the Knights of Columbus.

Friday Group: The Friday Morning Group meets from 9:00am to 10:00am in the Martha & Mary Room. The men enjoy coffee, Joyce Boone's treats, fellowship and discussions of the Gospel of Luke. For more information, contact Dave Boone at 913-492-2878 (Davidhboone@aol.com).

Sunday Group: The Sunday Morning Group meets from 7:30am to 8:30am in the Martha & Mary Room. The men enjoy coffee, prayer, fellowship and discussions of the Letter to the Romans. For more information, contact Mike Schreck at 913-438-1809 (Michaelschreck@everestkc.net).

New Information:

We'd love to hear your insights and hope you will join us in our common pursuit of a greater understanding and application of our faith.
